Hello everybody.
I know my journals are few and far between, but I like to wait until I have something worthy of exposure. It appears I do.
The first book in my series is due to be released to my beta readers in mid-October.
I've discovered that I'm a glutton for micro-management punishment. I've spent the last two weeks setting up my Author presence online; everything from twitter, through g+, fb . . . and now here.
Why?
Now that the books are nearing completion, I've created an official dA account to handle them.
But you have a spot on this page for all that, don't you?
All new work associated with the books (images, motion books, teaser chapters) will be posted on JIRogers-Author. I've already migrated all of the manila cover covers and 'The Plains of Korlune' over. Trust me, it's a cleaner look.

Hello Everyone reading this!
Still working on stuff - I've got two art shows coming up and I've set a date for releasing the beta-reader version of the first of my series.
Still working on stuff - I've got two art shows coming up and I've set a date for releasing the beta-reader version of the first of my series.
I know I've posted a lot of variants, ranging from black and white, on through to illustrations, but I think I'm finally closer to something I'll use for the book. I'll keep the sketchy ones and augment them for the graphic novels.
Of the WIPs above, this one got the most attention, so I did up the first three titles in the same format.
The background image is a tattoo that the main character was given when 'joined' the Special Projects Division:
